There’s no better way to risk injury than to skip warming up.
It’s as vital a part of sports as any and skipping a warm up puts an athlete at an immediate disadvantage from a performance standpoint. It doesn’t take much to get the body going, though, and ensuring a proper warmup drastically increases performance and lowers the risk of injury.
