Shea Flynn Sits Down with Newschoolers

TRENTON, N.J. – Shea Flynn, or Fleezy as he’s known in the non-traditional ski world sat down with K2 Skis International Team Manager & Marketing Coordinator Andrew Thomas to discuss urban etiquette, his influences, the best and worst places he traveled to last winter, and the story behind his manly beard.  For the full interview, click here.

In addition to in depth discussion about the future of urban skiing and the filming of his latest film, The Eighty Six, Shea discussed his excitement of being named to the K2 Factory Team; “I feel incredibly honored that I am considered a teammate when referring to such legends as Pep (Fujas), Andy (Mahre), Seth (Morrison) and Sean (Petite). I’ve watched each and every one of those dudes since I got into skiing. They have all influenced me incredibly and for that, I thank them.”

The Eighty Six, produced by Stept Productions, presents a migration from ski resorts to cities demonstrating urban skiing facing obstacles like broken cars, fires, law enforcement, competitions, water parks, parents and even the Denver Bronco Security.  In addition to his films, Shea can be seen in the current video series K2 Summer School (Season 2) sponsored and produced by K2 Skis.
